Black River!

We made it to the famous fishing grounds!  Erick and Sara joined us for an overnight camping trip and a day full of fishing!  We started the day right with donuts and hot chocolate!

It was kind of cold and M didn't want to get out of the tent.  We used our new tent for the first time and it's awesome!  Dale did a great job "MacGuyver-ing" our lantern using a lanyard from the Easter Pageant he had left in his back pack!  It worked great! I think we are going to keep it in our camping stuff for future trips!

Then we headed out through the river and after those fish!

Lots and lots of mud!  At first Dallin was hesitant to get in the water, but by the end of the day we couldn't keep him out of it!

It started out a little rough, but by the end of the day we had success!

Dale was the master at choosing just the right bait!

After a while, Maura got tired so we headed back to camp.  Dale and Dallin kept going looking for fish.  Eric and Sara headed out on their own and had success!

It was such a good day and a great trip!  We are looking forward to many other fun times like these to spend together!
