Graduation Celebration!

Maura's class had a celebration for those kids moving on.  We will really miss her amazing teachers, Ms. Jenna and  Ms. Angela, they are amazing!

Seems a little silly to have a 'graduation' for this age group...like they wouldn't move them on? It does, however, make them feel grown up and special! It was a lot of fun for them.

Kids getting ready to do the "graduation walk" complete with Pomp and Circumstance music in the background.  Super fun.  They walked slowly and with great solemnity!

Sitting very politely with the rest of the graduates.
Ms. Jenna

M was super happy to have Dale there!  So nice of him to leave work and come to her little classroom for her celebration. He made her feel really special!
45 years ago today my parents got married.

My mom. She is so beautiful! I sure do miss her.
They were married in the Mesa, AZ temple!

In 15 days I am going to be married in the same temple to this handsome man!

What a lucky girl I am!!

A couple of months ago we had some pictures done and I'm finally getting around to posting them!  My terrific neighbor took them. She does a fantastic job!

Little M....She's a sassy one!
Big D...this was the best smile we could coax out of him.  Evidently smiling is not cool for teenagers with braces.

Love these kids.
 Love this guy too!

Put us all together and we are one handsome group!

 With a lot of love!

23 days and counting!!

The Ranch!

Dallin had a camp out to go to, so Dale took Little M and I to the ranch! We sure love it there!  Maura was properly impressed, especially with Tuff the big dog! Tuff belongs to another family on the ranch, but made a special trip to come say hello to us.

It's a fantastic place! Thanks, Grandma & Grandpa Mullenaux, for letting us stay!

We took a little ride on the quad touring the ranch.
Of course M loved it!
We found a couple of friendly Burros that loved our carrots and peas and let M take a little ride.

 Dale made friends.
We were ready to go, but they just wouldn't let us!

There is a super big swing on a neighboring property.  M took a ride...it was a little scary, I think!

She also tried the zip line, but wasn't crazy about climbing all the way to the top, so we helped her start a little lower!

Side note-this girl does not like to wear pants, but I think she's decided, after multiple scratches and stickers, that the ranch requires pants! Yahoo!
I'm not scared of the top!
M was a really great photographer!

Of course we also had to explore the tunnel
We didn't build a fire, but Dale brought his axe and Maura helped chop some wood for next time!

Little M took her turn taking pictures...she really does a good job!

Such a great place! We already have good memories and will have many many more, I'm sure!

My Family

I've been looking through some pictures and thought I'd put some here. These are for you, Dale, to help keep my family straight.  We are a crazy bunch and it's hard to keep track of us all.
Hopefully this will help because there WILL be a test!

My Father, Maurice Wayne Jones and Mother, Dorenda Price Jones.  My mother passed away in 2006.

Dad is now married to Colleen Gillings an amazing horse woman and outdoor enthusiast! She is quite the philanthropic woman and they live in Jackson, WY.

I'm the oldest of 6 children. Four girls and 2 boys.  My dad always wanted a boy first, so he called me Sam for most of my life and I tagged along with him on all his adventures.  It was awesome!
Me and my two amazing kids, Dallin (13) and Maura (6).
This is Garrett, my middle child.  He died in 2008.

My sister just younger than me and her amazing family-The Fullmers.  They live in Grover, WY.
Kelly is an English teacher working on his doctorate degree, Gina holds everything together and does a fantastic job, Brannen is a crazy red-neck kid, Rae is a Rodeo Queen, Reese an amazing dancer, and Brady is a golf pro!
Kelly, Gina, Brannen (6), Rae (18), Reese ( 13) and Brady (16)

Jennifer is third in line and she is pretty awesome! She is very out-spoken and says it like it is!
The Boyd  family lives in Sandy, UT
Kyle is a really smart tech-y guy who always has the answer to any computer-related question I have.  Jen teaches piano lessons and manages everyone else, Blythe (14) is a cheerleader, Halle (12) sure knows her way around a kitchen, Jude (9) is a serious game kid, and Colin (5) is the spitting image of his dad!

Next comes Trenton my brother who lived with me for the past two years.  He has been a great roommate and we've loved having him around. Now he is getting his own place and we are happy he will still be close! Trenton drives a truck for Sysco foods and can park a trailer ANYWHERE! His son, Jeff (14) is a super soccer player!

Kathleen (Katie) comes next and her sweet family that lives in Coolidge, AZ.  They are all about adventures! Hiking, camping, the beach, the mountains, you name it and they will do it!
Kevin is an EMT that works for the city of Coolidge and is also going to school. He's the one we call when we have a medical related question!  Katie is an amazing mom to two little ones (did I mention she had both her kids at home?)!  They finger paint, jump on the trampoline, go to the library, and do so many fun things.  Adell (4) is a great ballerina.  Damien (3) is the happiest, smiliest kid you will ever see!

Lastly, the baby of the family, David.  He is a recent graduate receiving his MA degree in Social Work!  He lives in Salt Lake City, UT with his two dogs and is a talented people person.

I sure do love my family! They are pretty crazy-I have proof!
